The successor to the HM 450 and HM 480: our new HM 465. With a force of 4000 kN / 400 t and an opening of 380 mm, you can now process heavy or extra-large fittings and high-pressure hoses with just one machine. With a master die length of 150 mm and an opening travel of + 150 mm, the HM 465 is able to crimp 8″ ANSI flanges or even up to 12″ industrial pipe fittings without removing the crimp dies. Thanks to its high crimp force and unsurpassed accuracy, the HM 465 meets the stringent requirements for perfectly processing high-pressure hose fittings and insulators. The particularly compact and energy-efficient unit, operating at just 5.5 kW, saves an enormous amount of space thanks to its special Hilo hydraulic system and can be completely integrated into the machine. The ability to press from both sides and the fixed 6 o’clock die make operation particularly ergonomic. Clean slide bearing technology and stable construction make the HM 465 one of the best investments on the market. To ensure you get all the advantages of perfect operability, the versatile HM 465 comes exclusively with the modern IPC.
The PFM function allows for the continuous monitoring of the crimping pressure or crimp diameter during production. If a parameter deviates from the programmed set range, the crimping process is immediately halted, and an alert is displayed to the operator. This enables the identification of faulty components with a high degree of certainty during production.
The monitoring system compares the crimping pressure in milliseconds and halts the crimping process immediately upon detecting a deviation. This functionality allows for the detection of double crimps, the use of incorrect crimp die diameters, the use of non-compliant components (incorrect selection of crimp sleeves, nipples, and hoses), faulty execution of hose stripping, and incomplete pre-assembly of components. All of this data is recorded and can be accessed at any time.

The machine makes crimping easier with a larger opening diameter (82 mm (3.22”) without dies) and a larger opening travel distance of +27 mm (+1.06”). The crimper is very compact and lightweight for mobile applications, only 80 kg and dimensions of 540 mm (21.25”) x 716 mm (28.18”) x 526 mm (20.70”).
The machine also works at lower pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) instead of 700 bar (10 000 psi), making available larger options in power units from 110 to 230-volt 50/60 Hz as well 12- and 24-volt DC. The machine comes with a Quick Dies Change and Rack storage for dies, plus a 2-year warranty.
